NOTE: Cardiac measurement is an optional item for MySono U5.
Before Obtaining Cardiac Calculations

Cardiac Basic Information
Enter the information required for cardiac diagnosis in the Patient Information screen. Information
required for cardiac diagnosis includes Height, Weight, HR (Heart Rate), RAP (Right Atrial Pressure),
and BP (Blood Pressure). When the patient’s height and weight are entered, BSA (Body Surface Area)
is automatically calculated and displayed.
For more information on other patient information menu items and the method for entering
information, see ‘Entering Patient Data’ in Chapter 3. “Starting Diagnosis”.

Cardiac Measurement Menu Setup
Set the related menus for convenient measurement. You can specify how areas and volumes are
calculated. For other measurement-related menu items and settings, see the ‘Setting Measurements’
section in Chapter 7. “Utilities” of this manual.
