6-10) When the Dispenser Cover does not close
Does Main MICOM Pin No.
58 on the MAIN PCB change from
5V to 0V when the Dispenser
S/W is pressed?
Start
Does Main MICOM Pin No.
62 change from 0V to 5V?
Does the voltage at
the both RY7B coil terminals
change from 12V to 0V?
Does the RY7B contact operate normally
(Open/Close)?
Does Main MICOM Pin No.
40 & 41 becomes 0V/5V?
Does it stop when it is open completely?
Does it work when
the Dispenser S/W is pressed?
Does it close in 5 sec after ice come out?
① Check Dispenser S/W (Defective
S/W or Wiring)
② Check wiring between MAIN PCB
and Dispenser
① Check & Replace MICOM on MAIN
PCB
② Replace IC74
① Replace Relay RY7B
① Replace Relay RY7B
** Disconnect CN71 and check it
① Check Dispenser S/W (Defective S/W or
Wiring)
② Check wiring between MAIN PCB and
Dispenser
The entire Cover Ice Route control
system is OK.
① Check Ice Transfer Motor
② Check Wiring of Ice Transfer Motor
It operates with the Freezer door closed.
* The circuit is OK.

1) When the Dispenser S/W is pressed after selecting the type of ice (CUBED or CRUSHED), the Geared Motor will operate
and the Dispenser Cover will be opened. When the button keeps on being pressed, ice comes out. If the Geared Motor does
not operate, check the Dispenser S/W first. Also, take out the Geared Motor and check its resistance at the both terminals.
When it is 0 ohm, it is shorted and must be replaced.
