OWNER’S GUIDE CONDITIONERS, EPAD2/CPAD2 | 16407
xPAD2 interface connector
There are two identical interface connectors for pow-
er and control. One is used to interface with either
the Dewetron system, or another xPAD2 module in a
series. The other can be used to extend the daisy-
chain another xPAD2 module from this one. The two
connectors are interchangeable.

Connecting sensors
Use thermocouple sensors with standardized “mini”
thermocouple connectors. This is a polarized con-
nector with two at blades, and one blade is wider
than the other. Insert the plug correctly, and do not
force the plug in the wrong way.
- Connecting the thermocouple backwards will result
in wrong readings.

Use the correct type
Thermocouples are color coded according to inter-
national conventions.
- Note: Our “universal” thermocouple input is cow-
white, to indicate that it is compatible with multiple
thermocouple types.
