- Note: PS/2 devices should be connected before the system is powered on. PS/2 mice in particular will typically
not be recognized by Windows if connected after Windows has loaded.
IEEE-1394 Firewire interface
Connector: Standard 6-pin full size IEEE-1394b female connector
Mating connector: Standard 6-pin IEEE-1394b male plug
Function: Can be used to connect devices which utilize the IEEE-1394 rewire interface.
Description: This port is an IEEE Std 1394a-2000 fully compliant cable port which provides interfacing at
100M bits/s, 200M bits/s, and 400M bits/s.
- Note: The DEWE-CAM-01 high speed video camera from Dewetron connects via rewire. However, it is highly
recommended to add a dedicated rewire card to your system to get the best performance from the DEWE-
CAM-01 sensor. The full speed may not be achievable using the on-board interface shown above.
